Keep the Summer Fun Going Through the Fall! + Memory Craft Idea!
I've honestly had this written for over a month... Sorry I've been lagging. Surprise! It's a Wednesday! Anyway...
I know the feeling... School commercials on your t.v. just make your heart sink. Never fear! I am here to brighten your day with some last minute easy ideas to make those warm weekends feel like summer! Whether you're with your family or hanging out with your friends, these ideas will help you make the most of the heat.
Idea #1: The beach never closes! If there's a beach in your town, there's an easy and super fun activity you can do. (Surfing, chilling, tanning.)
Idea #2: Parks aren't closed either! Get your closest friends together and have a huge picnic at your local park! Bring your favorite summer foods, some games, a speaker and your camera!
Idea #3: Find a local outdoor concert! Most towns have a outdoor summer concert series on most weekends where you can bring food and friends. Those are always fun in the summer! Plus, you can work on your tan. ;)
Idea #4: Play kid again! Bring the memories back to life by playing with your friends in the backyard and riding bikes down the street to the ice cream truck. Make the games your own and play pretend! No ice cream truck in the neighborhood? Go to your freezer or even better, make your own!
Idea #5: CRAFT!?!?!?! Make bracelets, summer scrapbooks, and more! Here's an idea for a cool craft to keep some summer keepsakes in:
1. Take a old jar or glass bottle and rinse it out.
2. Collect items such as pictures, shells, concert/movie stubs, beads and coins.
3. Fill the bottle with sand (as much as you want) (From a craft store or your local beach if permitted)
4. Put your collected items in the bottle and you're done!
You can put this product anywhere but personally, I'm going to put mine in my room so if I need to remember some of the glorious summer memories, I can just glance over at this super cool and environmentally friendly piece of decor!
Obviouslly there are other activities you can do to have fun (movie marathon, bowling, etc...) but today I shared some of my favorites that remind me of the perfect summer. I know that school has started up for most people but you can also use these ideas on the weekends that are super sunny. I hope you enjoied these ideas and my little craft, and don't forget to subscribe to my new YouTube channel!
